Ok well I'm glad you guys got this on lock then, you guys know that game a hell of a lot better than I do. I remember having an issue with my install back in '08 not loading the Broken Steel DLC (back then I think it was an issue with my graphic card driver) so I never played Broken Steel, which would be why I never experienced the Enclave that early.

Yeah the mercs at level 4 or 5 dropped "Talon Company Armor, Reinforced" I've been wearing it since I got it.

I also totally overlooked the DR to DT thing so that also explains a lot, oh and that I'm unlucky haha

In 3+ years of playing, I've never seen TC at the Super Duper Mart. I thought I new most of their spawn points and thought they only hunted us if our karma was high. With their armor having DT instead of DR they can be much tougher to kill. I had to backtrack through an entire subway once just evade them. Ever since then I hates then, yes we do. We hates them forever.

@Inferno: But Combat Shotguns ARE in the CW. Also, Bottle that Water will most likely not be getting integrated.
Playing vanilla FO3, I actually had the UFO crash in front of the Super Duper Mart once and one of the raiders came around the corner to one-shot my level 2 character with the Firelance before I could get around the front of the building and see what all the ruckus was about.
Never seen this, super interested to now though.

Actually had that happen to me recently, if ammo were easier to come by it would have been awesome.

Yeah the combat shotgun is a highend weapon, so you won't see it for some time. I implemented the FNV tier system, so yeah, single shotguns and .357 will be everywhere at first, but eventually the higher quality enemies will carry higher quality weapons.

Does that mean Wild Bill's Side Arm uses .22 as well?

Yes. Nothing in the game uses .32 any more. the hunting rifle became a 308 in NV and that left only the .32 pistol using .32. and there was no point in having only one gun using an ammo, so it was changed to .22.

Long time no see. The big boy

Post by Justincase09 » Thu Oct 31, 2013 7:46 pm

Long time no see. The big boy college grad job has seriously been cutting into my Fallout time. Anyway I hope you guys are still running at it strong. Before I went on my hiatus from playing I found .32 rounds and took screen shots to their locations. I'll have to post those up sometime this weekend since I only remember them being in a subway and a super mutant tent but I can't specifically remember which ones.
