Still, how would the LW know how to jury rig a "Hydration Arch," a theoretical device not seen anywhere, (in game, or Sci-Fi to my knowledge) out of alien tech? If someone were to make a mod that does what you are suggesting, i think the effect should be implemented before the player upgrades the arch. Just my two cents

Honestly, I'm not digging the whole arch thing. There is food laying around, so obviously they need to eat, and it seems like an arch that feeds you would be easier than one the re-hydrates you. Or at least no harder.


That said, if I were to implement the hydration arch, I would make it hydrate you if and only if you have not upgraded it. Makes it more of a choice, because, honestly, there is no reason to ever NOT upgrade if you can.

Not to crazy about the H20-arch either, but it's not outside the realm of possibility. (As far as a mod goes)


However i like your idea of the arch Jax. Maybe add a negative buff of some kind to the arch if the LW overclocks it. So that way the player can choose between the guaranteed health boost, or the bigger health boost with a twist, like +50 Rads or something.


EDIT: Also Plus one more on hydrating alien food.

But the Arch after being upgraded already has a bad thing, it only works three times cheeky then it's useless.

Yeah but I've never had to use an arch more than once or twice, don't think I ever had one run out of juice on me.
