Mod that adds the Green Tint to The Capital Wasteland

Post by DroneSniper » Sat Jul 27, 2013 5:16 am

Hey guys, I am one of the few people that actually prefers the green tint of Fallout 3. I noticed that The Capital Wasteland does not have the green tint that it used to have when Tale of Two Wastelands is enabled. I think it would be a great idea for someone to create a mod that adds the green tint back to The Capital Wasteland (not the mojave) so people who preferred the green tint can have it back in this awesome mod.

I actually did my best to PRESERVE the green tint and cannot find any reason why it would be gone.

Perhaps it's a mod-override, DroneSniper?

The imagespace modifiers for the CW also seem to have lost their tint values in my game, but because I prefer this change I've never bothered to look and see what was responsible for the dirty edit.

Ah ok sorry guys :S. I realized that Nevada Skies was enabled by accident and was indeed making The Capital Wasteland not green. However, it would still be cool for a mod that makes Nevada Skies ONLY affect the Mojave and leaves The Capital Wasteland with the green tint.

Well then make one? It should

Well then make one? It should be a relatively simple matter of duplicating some forms, changing a few references, and saving a new plugin. Probably all work that can be done in FNVEdit, and a pretty easy mod to start with.

The Groovatron for FNV allows

The Groovatron for FNV allows you to make color changes and some other things very quickly and easily. Don't know how it works with an ENB, though. I changed the hues in NV to more blue and red and the contrast a little to make dark places a little darker. It also allows for many idles, npc manipulation, and other things as well. Note that after installation, you will not receive the Groovatron or it's functions until you start the NV side of TTW.
