Hey there. I heard the mod came back and was excited to try it again. However, I'm a bit confused why there's no Readme file to explain things like load order or what certain plugins are for (TTW_Bobbleheads.esp, for example, is very cryptic and doesn't tell me anything). I double-checked the .7z and the extracted data for signs of a readme, but couldn't find one. Not having one makes it kind of difficult to set things up properly. :/
Edit: I realize the install instructions are on the Download page, but having the Readme available locally is more convenient.

I made a post explaining what the optional bobblehead file does:
Link
I will risk it to say that there are no read me file because this is still an Alpha release, which means that the team is busy with making the mod playable and bug free, so they don't have time to make a read me file, also if there are any changes in the future the file would have to be updated each time making it even more time consuming. I am sure that once TTW advances from Alpha to Beta the team will have a bit more time for improving the info and make compatibility patches and stuff like that
well now that I think about it I am part of the team but I am a tester not a moder so maybe I can pull something like a read me together if it's ok with the rest of them

The Alpha download page has pretty much what a read me would have, instructions, load order, ect. but I'm pretty sure no one looks at any of it and just goes straight to the link.....

LOL I hate to say it but I am inclined to agree. The alpha page is kind of a read me as it sits, but it really needs some touching up. And yes, I see copious amounts of people who obviously skip the install instructions and then have trouble installing... big fucking surprise there.

lol I'm not even on the team and spend a big part of my time on this site helping correct load order that's explained plain as day. I think if a person wants a readme they should download offline versions of the Alpha download page and the FAQ. I'd say make them available with the installer but they'd be skipped over that way too so just leave well enough alone and be done with it.

My thoughts exactly, no one reads the readme even if we put 1 in. Hell the installer does all the work and is pretty much fool proof, or so I thought, and ppl still find ways to royally fuck it up too.

hey, I read the readmes! :)
Everything is on the download page, but I still think it would be nice to have it in the download itself....maybe I'll copy the text on the download page and make one myself and stick it in there. A recent hard drive crash (bringing thoughts of impermanence) and off-and-on internet outages (line goes down, I can't see the download page and then what do I do if I am brainfarting the load orders I've seen for so long when I've convinced myself I have to do a new install during that power storm), but hey, maybe that's just me.
