Perk lists and weapon integration questions

Just started playing this mod and there are a couple things I've been wondering, but I haven't seen them addressed anywhere.


 


Firstly, have the perks been fixed to include all of the weapons that should be affected? For example, the perk "The Professional" uses a formlist to determine what weapons are affected by it, and this *should* (but by default, does not) include DLC pistols, and in the instance of this mod it should also include weapons that are only found in the Capital Wasteland. Which returns me to my question of has this been fixed, and if not would using a mod like the one found at http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/45362 be able to resolve most of the issues without conflict?


 


Secondly, are DLC weapons (like the ones at Gun Runner's Arsenal) integrated into the vendors of the Capital Wasteland? If not, would using a mod like WME to integrate them cause problems? What about the Honest Hearts weapons, and the .45 Auto ammunition? Thanks in advance.

I am working on releasing an update later today that does just this. It completely overhauls all form lists. Even stuff like challenges.


For example, the "Dyin' Ain't Much of Living" challenge from GRA which requires you to kill NCR and Caesar hit men now also include Talon Co and Regulator hitmen.

Glad to hear that. Would it be possible if when you release the update you also release notes specifying which weapons were added to what perks/challenges (e.g. if the Chinese Assault Rifle is added to Grunt, or something like that)?

You know, I should have done that... now its not so easy. I'll put it on my todo list but it won't be done today. Honestly, its pretty logical, I followed the patterns already laid out in the original game.
