Compatibility with other languages

Hi everyone,

First thing : Thank you for your work !

Is your wonderful mod compatible with a "FRENCH" version, "Steam, french version" ? (legal of course)

I only have New Vegas but if it work with the french version, i will buy Fallout 3 GOTY right now :)

If it's not working, is there any way to make it work with a french version ?

Unfortunately there is no quick way to make this work with other languages. Currently it requires the english versions of both FalloutNV and Fallout3 and that won't change until TTW is mostly done, I'm sorry.

I suppose there still a lot of work ... so i will have to wait i guess :(

Or maybe : instal both games in english,

Instal TTW,

Translate all esm who where patched with Egg translator ?

Is there anyway for it could work ? (I admet that i realy want to play with your mod ;)

So, it does not work :(

It doesnt patch all of the esm. No problem for the BSA or the music but nothing for the esm.

It dont even tell me if there is an error, and when i try to choose "only patch the esm", it does nothing and tell me "finished intalling".

I try another time with Fallout3 GOTY in english and FNV in french and it works !

Egg translator could do a quick translation of all esm (Fallout3 GOTY), exept fallout3.em.

It's an important tip for all those that can't install the mod because of the non-english language...

Egg Translator is a tool that can be used to translate Fallout 3 and Fallout NV mods. It is available here (download links at the bottom, you need v1.5.1.3 for FNV): http://www.egg-of-time.us/portal/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1825:eggtranslator&catid=45:tools-und-utilities&Itemid=54

It can do "automatic" translation with Google Translate, although the results may not be the best.

You can use some database for each game to translate the "esm". It's a lot better than google :)

It works for me :

Instal (legal) Fallout3 GOTY steam version in englsih,

Install (legal) Fallout New Vegas Ultimate edition DVD version in french,

Run TTW Patcher

Translate all of the TTW and Fallout3 "esm" with Egg Translator (using french database for each games)

I am running a test with some mods like : Custom race, cinematech, ENB series, megaton tweak... And so far it works!
