Resolution error on ROG Ally

I have TTW working fine on Ally when plugged into a 1440p monitor, but whenever I try to play on the native screen it says "Failed to initialize renderer. Your display doesn't support the selected resolution. Please set a different resolution in Fallout: NV Launcher under 'Display Settings.'" I've messed around with the resolutions a bunch and it continues to give me the same error. Have you encountered this issue? If so, how do you get it working with the regular screen on the Ally? Any help greatly appreciated!
