If we do this, they could put TTW available in Spanish and French!


I've already did some test with "Egg translator"  on TTW's esm and it didn't broke the files. I used  a Fench database made by "Roi Liche" from "La Confrérie des Traducteurs"


Many things have to be done manually but it greatly reduce the translation work! ;)

Actually, a large amount of my work is toward being open to translations. I am writing a script for FNVEdit that can be run on the base FO3 files (any version, any language) and it will AUTOMATICALLY convert them to work for TTW. So the only thing you would need to translate would be the TTW.esm file, most of which should be fairly easy.

In other news:


I'm sorry everyone, I tried hard for this week, and its not over yet, but don't get your hopes up. There are over 20 thousand conflicts between FNV and FO3 and I am trying to resolve them ALL. I am still shooting for this week, but it may need to get pushed back. Rest assured: I am working like a dog and I want to get it to you as much as you want to have it... I can't play until it's done, either.

Due to the nature of this type of game, none of us will be playing NV now until 2.0a is out. It's all about progress, what progress can you make in your savegame if a restart is required in 1 or 2 weeks time? None really.


If I want to make a request for a F3 mod to be coverted to 2.0a, but the mod doesn't belong to me, can I do this? Or would that be against the rules?


Also, I want to make a TTW version of my mod, black load screens

Feel free to make requests in the mod requests forum, perhaps somebody will do it.


The loading screens, I don't know specifics but if you check the TTW bsa files they match the structure of the FNV bsa files, so if you did it for FNV you can follow the same path to do it for TTW.
