Q2005: That was a recurring problem with older versions of the installer, but I thought I had fixed them. What are your system specs? What version of which Mod Manager are you using?

about the 2.4a .fomod, the only problem for me is only two DLC could be installed (anchorage and brokensteel), but I'm using 7z to look inside the 5+GB .fomod, all things there, just don't know why.
My spec is: i5-3470, 8G RAM, win7 x64, ms2005/2008/2010/2012 (both x86 and x64), .net 3.51/4/4.5. FOMM is 0.13.21

If you're using FOMM to install the ttw .fomod, you must replace the fomm.exe with a large-address-aware version, otherwise you will get exactly the behaviour you are describing. There is a link on the alpha download page.

EDIT: after using LAA FOMM, the .fomod has been installed successfully.

New computer is 32 bit
New computer is 32 bit (Argentina is behind the curve, it is ok - I will upgrade what I can, when I can).
Manual install after reading the directions three times, works just fine so far - no mods yet.
Thank you for your hard work

[30/12/2013 12:10:30 AM] Patching TaleOfTwoWastelands.bsa...
[30/12/2013 12:10:34 AM] Your version of TaleOfTwoWastelands.bsa cannot be patched. This is abnormal.
hmmm going to try a reinstall all the needed programs, maybe one of them are at fault
Ok everything has been installed properly, have all the needed requirements and yes do have a legal copy of the games. Yet the problem is still coming up

Did you follow the upgrade instructions on the download page? This error sounds like you are trying to install 2.4 on top of an older version of TTW.

All is well on my end.
All is well on my end. Installer took only 35 minutes. I did have some issues with compatibility in other mods but nothing an update of esp's didnt help. Other than that awesome so far.
Thanks for the release TTW Team and I hope your holidays are awesome.

I had the same issue, It
I had the same issue, It worked after re-downloading the installer and NOT extracting it to my desktop. Installing it from the .rar file worked perfectly.
I've been waiting forever for this mod so I can play it again. Last time I played it was all the way back at 1.4 !
Well done and good work to all involved in TTW development and keep up the good work !
