Hello.
I have tried importing Fallout 3's vanilla animations into New Vegas before with varying success.
For anyone who has not noticed,
When you run forward in Fallout 3 with a weapon equipped, you can look up and down and your character's body will shift in the direction you're looking, making a smooth, natural animation.
When you run forward in Fallout New Vegas equipped, you can look straight up at the sky or down to the depths of hell and your character will continue looking forward like nothing is happening.
This has been something I've seen no one else talk about. I want to change it because I love playing with enhanced camera on my regular Fallout 3 saves, but in New Vegas it just looks strange anytime you move.
If anyone has any helpful insights I would greatly appreciate it. I've tried copying over meshes and renaming them but some of them are so garbled it becomes a tedious guessing game.
Thanks.

I figured it out.
FNV has separate 2haforward/2hrforward anims, F3 only uses "2hraim" etc. Simply renaming them changes this.

Is it possible to convert the fallout 3 rifle run forward animation to fallout nv by changing its name to the new vegas version?
