AntAgonizer Companion mod sounds missing

Post by GDICommando » Sun Oct 25, 2020 5:19 pm

So I downloaded that Antagonizer companion mod for Fallout 3 and replaced the esp with TTW patch from Nexus. The mod itself does work but all the voice sounds are missing and she does not move her lips when talking.
I know there were different versions of the TTW port on this very website but the link (content/ttw-antagonizer-companion) give me a "You are not authorised to read this forum".
Can you please either tell me how to fix the missing sounds or let me download the TTW port from this site? Thanks in advance.

The conversion that was posted to this site was for an old version of TTW and is no longer compatible. Fixing the sound files and dialogue is something that needs to be done to properly convert the file for use in TTW. It sounds like whatever "conversion" you downloaded was not done properly.

The mod itself is working. The guys from the original mod page comment section said it has to do with the folders. Okay, they said the mod`s dialogue lines folder is named FemaleAdult01Default, but TTW uses a different name for AntAgonizer`s voice actor so the respective voice folder has a different name. They said it`s FemaleAdult13. But apparently, that is WRONG. I made two folders inside the mod folder, one named FemaleAdult13 and the other FemaleAdult13Default. Hasn`t helped. The voices are still missing. So I suppose one of the residents of this forum could just tell me the correct name the folder (i.e Sounds/Voice/Sound\Voice\AntAgonizerCompanion.esp/"female whatever number folder name") should have in order to be recognized by the game. Oh, and, my apologies if I`m wrong.

The conversion I did for my own personal use has the Antagonizer files in FemaleAdult01DefaultDC, but just dumping the files in there might not fix all your problems. I updated my companion version to utilize the companion wheel and the FNV companion system. If the person who did the conversion you are using did the same you'll have to go through and update all the voice and lipsync files so their names match the corresponding dialogue in the GECK.

If they half-assed the conversion, you can probably get away without doing the last part.

Many thanks, friend. I will try renaming the folder and if it does not work I will check the esp with GECK. By the way, the conversion I was using was this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods ... escription as it is the only one available for download at the moment. It does use the companion wheel. BTW are you working on a companion mod for TTW?

An update: that actually WORKED, the voice sounds started playing. Many thanks, my friend.
If anyone has the same problem just rename "FemaleAdult01Default" to "FemaleAdult01DefaultDC".

No, my conversions are for private use only. I don't release mods for public use. That conversion you posted was made well before the current version of TTW. You will probably run into bugs. Just fair warning.
