I know someone has probably brought this up but I can't find an answer. I've been trying to get the groovatron working with fallout 3. The NV version works perfectly, but when I try to use the fallout 3 version the game immediately crashes when I try to load a game. I have to uncheck it. I was hoping the NV version would also be working for 3 but obviously I'm not a software engineer so I don't know how to fix it.

"Who cares" you're probably asking, but I want to start making animations for videos in 3 again and without the groovatron that's just pointless.

Yes, I have everything installed. Yes I've load ordered as best I can. Nothing works. The game still crashes when I try to use the groovatron with fallout 3. No, before you ask, the recent update the author released doesn't fix it.

It doesnt work because it's for Fallout 3. You need to convert it to work with TTW.

You aren't playing FO3. You are playing NV with a mod that basically adds FO3 content on top of it. In other words, you'll need to use the FNV version of the mod.
Produces the programming equivalent of coffee stains.

I know that. It works when I play NV, doesn't in 3. Mods I have for NV even work when I use 3, but not the groovatron. So, yeah, the NV version isn't working in 3 either. Don't know how else I can explain the problem.

Alright, never mind. I just made a door from goodsprings to megaton in the geck and it works, but it doesn't work any other way. I just took my NV character and sent him to megaton and it works. I guess in the end it doesn't matter, I only want to use fallout 3 for animations and sets and the groovatron is all I needed working for it. Don't care about quests or anything.

And no, trying COC GOODSPRINGS did not trigger the mod and put it in my 3 inventory.

Yes, I know you can get there from the mod. But it was just quicker to make a door.

So the Groovatron works in the Mojave Wasteland, but it doesn't work in the Capital Wasteland while playing TTW?

I have no idea how the Groovatron is made. If this issue happens to anyone that uses it with TTW, then I assume that it needs a specific TTW version or a patch for it to work on the Capital Wasteland.

Best chance would be if the mod author made a patch or a TTW version, but if I remember correctly the original Groovatron for FO3 and the FNV Groovatron were made by different people, so I don't know who could make it work flawlessly with TTW. :?
