Where can I find mods for fleshing out fo3.

The mods for TTW are kinda disappointing.... I thought there would be more. Finding them on nexus is a hassle and these forums have nothing but mod requests but no mods?

Here you have 170 threads, where the vast majority are TTW mods:
Tale of Two Wastelands Mod Releases 3.x
Here you have the recommended mod list for TTW:
Recommended Mods for 3.2.x

About the Nexus. It's super easy to find TTW mods there. All you have to do is type in the search bar TTW (this will give you tons of mods) or Tale of Two Wastelands (this will give you only a handful of mods, but you should try it too, in case you want to use any of those) and press enter (or click on the magnifying glass button).
Then you check to see if the mod was released or last updated since November 2018 (because that was when the latest version of TTW was released).
You can also just use the Nexus "Time" search filter and choose the "Range" option, then choose "From" and select in the calendar "2018" for the year, "November" for the month and then click on the "1" for the day. Or type the date 2018-11-01 on the box.
Then you do the same for the "To" box and click on the day that matches whatever day it is when you're doing this. Then press "Done" and that's it.

Here you have the list of known mods that are incompatible with TTW:
Mods Incompatible with 3.2+
This is useful to avoid using mods that would break something in your game. :D

I have a new mod that may interest you called "Fallout 3 Rebirth - TTW Port". It is less than 2 weeks old, so it hasn't had time to allow tons of mass testing by lots of players, but initial post are quite positive.
Unfortunately the one glaring red flag is by RoyBatterian (i.e. RoyBatty 's nexus name) pointing out "Heads up, there is unwanted landscape edits that should be fixed, causes lots of incompatibilities, particularly with interiors.". As he is one of (I assume 'one of') the authors of TTW he knows better than others what will and will not work well! (his mods have convinced me he REALLY knows the FO3/FNV games better than possibly even the developers) I have the mod loaded and am currently playing with it in my load order - installed before Roy's post - and have found no problems, but am early in the game.
My recommendation is to keep an eye on this mod, and look for an update uploaded after Sept. 2nd (the date of Roy's post) as I believe the modder will look into the issues raised and fix (or at least attempt to fix) the mod.
It does "flesh out" the D.C. wasteland quite nicely, in my opinion. From what I have seen, it does it soundly. But as I said, I am still early in the game (30-40 hours or so) and may not have encountered the problems that Roy has. I will not even try to argue with Roy about compatibility of mods (or anything FO-related for that matter!), so I assume that there will be problems of some sort. My advice is to look for an updated version of this very promising mod on nexus!

If you use interiors, you can't get into anchorage as it's edited the landscape to the metro entrance, there is other issues.

If the navmeshes weren't all refinalized and the navinfo deleted first, it's going to make navmeshes wonky too. I wrote a long post about stuff that needs to be taken care of here.

So, in other words I'm going to regret having it installed? Esp. with your recommended interiors mods... Too bad, I liked the little bit I had came across so far.
But as someone said, you are the "Fallout Jesus" (I believe that is the actual quote) I will take your word for it! Thanks for the heads-up!

Roy's gone to a bit of effort to adapt A World of Pain (AWOP) to the current version of TTW, if you're looking for mods that add extra content and areas to FO3 this should be you're first go to mod.
Enjoy :)
