Check the draw calls. I'm guessing it's the gazillion popcorn boxes and other trash at the docks that drag down performance.

Point Lookout runs bad in vanilla Fallout 3 as well, I'll be trying to address the performance issues, but there is only so much I can do.
Oh well that's a bummer. A real shame since Point Lookout is my favourite FO3 DLC. Thanks for the quick response!

Hi, i'm getting some pretty big stutters when LOD changes to its HD counterpart, obviously that's to be expected but i'm dropping from 80fps to just below 60fps and its quite jarring. I'm using some 2K textures mods, I've tried disabling them and honestly it feels about the same. I was just wondering if this was pretty standard and there's nothing to worry about or if something is wrong with my game ( it's been a while since I've played Fallout 3 or New Vegas so i can't remember what they're like ) sometimes LOD doesn't render properly for certain structures, mainly bridges. I know Fallout has always had issues like this, just wondering if there's any way i can alleviate it without making my game look like shit.
I got around this doing 3 things (Keep in mind I'm running this on a Macbook Pro (Win 10 Bootcamp) with 128MB Vram and getting decent playback.
1
FNVlauncher. Turn down some settings.
All water detailing off.
Turning down LOD. Means you can't see as far but it now runs amazingly.
2
Using the vid on the installtionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cypqage ... e=emb_logo
3
As part of the tutorial: Up to date graphics drivers, controlled Anti-aliasing, EbPro with specified VRAM.
