Pop-Up Text Bug

The problem I seem to be having is with all text that isn't within some sort of interface, if that makes any sense. All text in scrolling quest names, or the names of objects when they are being looked at by the player are replaced with squares. For example, the text that would normally appear on-screen when entering a new town appears as one line of blue squares instead of the name of the location. Also affected are the names of characters, items, and most annoyingly doors while the player is looking at them.

I was hoping somebody else has had this issue, but after browsing the forum for a bit I didn't see any mention of it, and figured a post may be helpful for anyone running into the same problems. Also, I do want to note that I do not have any mods installed or active, and I installed the 3.2.1 update. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

That sounds like a font problem.

Those are usually caused by UI mods or custom fonts.

One thing about UI mods is that, usually, you can't just disable them using a mod manager, they have to be totally removed from the game files, if leftovers stay behind it will cause problems.

You also need to install the TTW update 3.2.2, but that's not related to this particular issue.
