This could just be a nerf that I'm unaware of, so forgive me if so.
I only seem to be finding Super Mutant Blood Samples on Super Mutant Overlords. In actual Fallout 3, I swear I remember finding them on every single Super.
Is this intentional? I suppose it would make sense, seeing as the INSANE amount of money I was making in Fallout 3 with all the samples I would bring back for the BoS.
If it's unintentional, but you can't replicate this issue, then I must have something going on on my end.

Re: Super Mutant Blood Samples
I will try and test this one out once I have time... It might take a while since I have to start a game and finish FO3 main quest before I can test this

Re: Super Mutant Blood Samples
If it's like deathclaw death drops, it's because NV uses leveled lists for drops that also include a chance of getting nothing at all. Back under 2.9.4, I had to make a mod to change the deathclaw drop list so that you always got at least one hand because another mod I used counted on the user getting at least one hand per deathclaw. I doubt that's changed in 3.2.2 since I frequently get deathclaws with no drops at all like under 2.9.4. It's just because NV is super-stingy about drops to make it more difficult.

Re: Super Mutant Blood Samples
To be honest, it could make sense anyway. Like, I made over 10,000 caps in one hand-in once, in Fallout 3.
Though at the same time, a Super is gonna be full of blood when he dies, as apposed to a Gecko who's hide you ruined by filling him with holes, to justify the hide being missing.
