TTW menu won't show up

I have tried everything, I've even tried launching with just the main esms and ttw but it still won't bring up the menu, I've even tried laucnhing just fallout new vegas and the menu still won't show up, nothing I do works, is something corrupt? I don't see how it could be because no matter which esms I launch it won't work, should I validate cahche or will that mess with ttw?

Validating will mess up TTW.

Need more information, how did you install, which method. Which mod manager if you used one.

I used FOMM because MO2 was getting really convoluted and I used the automated install, I'm confused because I don't understand how it could be broken unless somethings corrupted or I installed it wrong

Hi, fellow FOMM user here. Assuming you had installed everything correctly, did you perhaps wait for a few minutes for the menu screen to load up? I know mine did when I freshly install TTW. I have to wait for a few minutes before the screen load up for the first time. Also I avoid launching from FOMM itself as I use it to just manage the mods and then launch it from the .exe (set to run as admin - mentioned in the TTW install video) instead.

yes i know about this but sadly it wasn't just a couple of minutes and always eventually froze

You need to provide more info on what all you installed. For example, if you installed NVSR and didn't set the ini file correctly, it could easily hang the computer before reaching the menu. I did that once by accidentally using the Intel settings on an AMD processor.

no reason to even use NVSR anymore, NVTF replaces it.
