Curious if this can be corrected by just manually applying the 4GB patch. It is the only part that failed, with error "MSVCP120.DLL not found". The installer reported that it was successful at the end.
Edit - correction for which DLL was missing. Quick googling determined that I needed to install the Visual C++ 2013 redist (x86). Used Roy Batty's 4GB patch from NexusMods (which tossed the same error when I initially ran it). I'm hoping that'll be good enough that I can skip a full reinstall since the transcode process took a while.

The fix is installing the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables. Both the x86 and 64 versions.

Re: Installer 4GB LAA patch failed?
Installer ignores errors from patching and ini alterations because it would most likely make some people really pissed to see a failure message after 10 hours long installation, and because such minor post installation changes can be made manually.
