Anyway, like the title says, Fresh Pears are bugged. Looks like someone set a value to "Equal to" when it should have been "Less than" while setting food items to work with Food Sanitizer. In other words, eating Fresh Pears won't restore any health unless you have Food Sanitizer. I grabbed a quick screenshot of what I'm talking about and how I fixed it in my own plugin:

had to figure out which binary value means "Less than" to FNVedit. For anyone else looking to manually fix this for their own game, the value you need to put in for "Less Than" is "001000". So yep, that's that.
