Re: Game keeps crashing at certain point
9 years later usually crashes because of pipboy replacers or race mods.
It can also be caused by AVAST antivirus.

Re: Game keeps crashing at certain point
Crashes happened to me in 3.2. I had NVAC and all that but as soon as I got to Nellis it crashed and I tried to fast travel and it didn’t work. It also broke my new vegas, whenever I start a new game my game would freeze randomly I uninstalled the mod and rest of the mods I had and still crashed. I even completely deleted files from steam and had a complete reinstall but it didn’t fix anything, can anyone help?

Re: Game keeps crashing at certain point
Hello, I'm both a new member and a new modder experimenting with TTW. I also have the required 4GB patch (with return code 2 for GetIsLAA in the console), JIP LN NVSE, NVAC, and NVSR.
I started on NVAC's forum looking for the C000000FD error and ended up here. I switched from NVTF to NVSR and the consistent message was this overflow error.
I have been enjoying it so far for almost 10 hours of total time before I got an NVAC error which seems to be a DirectX error as noted here on this topic (forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1197661-nvac-new-vegas-anti-crash/page-117#entry10440592).
This happened first when I entered the Mall after receiving Three Dog's quest. My save starts and I have usually about 3 minutes max before it hangs and now crashes. Please help; I have tried a few workarounds (including ENBSeries' WaitBusyRenderer=true and the aforementioned NVSE downgrade to 54.91) to no avail. Other save file loads result in the same pattern.
I have tried a complete reinstall of FNV, FO3, TTW 3.2.2, JIP LN NVSE 54.91, NVAC, and NVSR.
Here is my most recent nvac.log file:
Is there anything I can do? And is this the right place to post my problem?

Get rid of NVSR and use Tick Fix.

Re: Game keeps crashing at certain point
The same overflow error occurs regardless. I just tried another clean install and with a heavier emphasis on MO2, but it did not solve my problem. It seems to be TTW specific, and most likely something with my computer, but I don't know why it took 10 hours for the problem to crop up. A new game exacerbates the problem somehow, to the point where weird static-like noise appears at the birthday party in the vault.

Re: Game keeps crashing at certain point
You need to post more info: list of mods, list of NVSE plugins, any texture/mesh replacements, etc.

Mods:
JIP LN NVSE 55.41 (I have also tried it with 54.91)
NVAC 7.5.1
NVTF 3.8.6
4GB Patcher (with TTW, admin rights)
TTW 3.2.2
That's it.

Re: Game keeps crashing at certain point
Looking in the code this is in the stencil depth buffer routine, there is something wrong with your drivers.
Try uninstalling them, cleaning them out entirely with DDU (from guru3d.com) and then reinstalling drivers you know work (you said it used to work). Perhaps the latest driver is broken, it's known to happen especially with AMD.

Re: Game keeps crashing at certain point
Thank you so much! DDU worked. I hadn't thought to try it since I had used it before, but it seems to have mostly fixed the problem. There are some points, specifically during dialogue, where the screen freezes, music repeats, and dialogue continues before the screen momentarily turns black (only once crashing with the C00000FD overflow error). However, it is now in a much more playable state! Thank you again.
And for anyone who encounters the same problems and symptoms, here is the link to the mirrors for guru3d's DDU (https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/di ... nload.html).

Re: Game keeps crashing at certain point
I am glad you made some headway with this, so we know for sure it's a driver issue. Thank you for posting your results.
