the entire and primary reason the 2.9 mods are locked up is because users were using 2.9 mods in 3.2 and reporting bugs in 3.2 and we spent days chasing things down only to find out they were using unrecommended mods.

therefore it was decided that being that we're just a couple handfuls of people with enough on our plates just ironing out 3.2 as it is, and in the interest of our own sanity and the desire to not kill our drive to keep working on 3.2, the actual first beta release, and continue moving forward to fully finalized releases we were no longer supporting 2+ versions. as such, it was decided to remove access to 2+ mods as well, to reduce the snipe hunting we were doing.

we did, however, move those mods to a place where they can be worked on by competent modders who should be able to update them to 3+ versions of the game should they choose to, and if the original modder has lost their files and wants to get them back from the forum, we'll be happy to accommodate them, but we won't be hosting them for public consumption here.

in conclusion, yes, your options for 2+ mods for a 2.9 build are either going to have to come from a third party source or you could learn to make the mods yourself.
perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

Much better. Now I actually know what's going on. Thanks for the expanded answer. What you you baseily are doing is to make sure that people that don't what they are doing, don't do the wrong thing. So you don't need to help them. But the people that do know that they are doing can't get the mod they are looking for if they have 2.9. I see. It just sucks when you are able to support yourself. ;)

I have made a couple of mods for FO3 on Nexus, I might be inserted in making for TTW too. And maybe make some exclusive versions for TTW, for some of them too. But with the new 3.2 thing, it's possible it have to wait to (if) I get my game up to 3.2.

Anyway, thanks. It's just nice to know what's going on. :)
