Have my campfire attached to a night time only enabled script, yet the fire pit is still making crackling fire sound even when fire is not visible.

Why not move the fire to a dummy cell, and then put it back when it's nighttime?

Was thinking that if wholly removing the sound isn't possible when simply disabling an object.

You can call stopsound on the reference with the sound form.

Going to be a couple hours before computer is accessible again. Is there a corresponding startsound command for when the fire is enabled during the night?

You need to use GECK Extender and patch GECK with the patch on the page so it loads NVSE and JIPLN.

I had done that. Would it matter if I I had installed JIP LN NVSE Plugin via MO2 and not manually?

I'm missing something fundamental. Would the script be attached to a quest? Would it be an object script? What does the structure of the code look like? Please ignore if this is becoming a drain... I'll figure something out.

Also, I tried the MoveTo command on fire but it could not return.
