Zeta was never released except on the GOTY edition.

I just found my discs*, I'm reinstalling on my old tower with WindowsXP as soon as I find the damned cables. Been a while since I've plugged in an old school tower or monitor. Zeta was the odd man out though. That one I remember was GFWL**. Was a big fuss for a while, then we did something or other and it was more or less like the rest of them. Would have to ask my brother, he'd know; That's his thing.

Will report back, before or after you work on it Roy.

Thank you so much for this mod. It's a literal essential for me to play FO3 FNV.

--Addendum
*Can't find the Mothership Zeta disc/case. Found this. But that was the only instance of it I could find.

Just went to the base of the link, fellow called "The_Hunter" says, "Since i made that Uprising DVD Cover i decided to make some more covers for some other Games and DLC's i own to make nice cases for them so here they are". Not sure what to make of that.

And I'm not seeing that there were ever any downloadable codes for Zeta not through Steam, so I'm wondering if we got the GOTY edition, and the TTW install isn't working because I have Zeta from GOTY edition and the rest are from the GFW discs.
**I can't remember what it looked like, and the internet says it doesn't exist, so, yeah. Seems to be confirmed by me finding all the others, but that one. Would explain a lot.***
***Although that doesn't really matter, because the TTW launcher is breaking on Point Lookout. Bout to walk up the street and see if I can borrow an old tower power cord. I'm so curious.

And one last edit for now until I find this cord and get FO3+DLC reinstalled, although, I could get lucky and find that that's where the "clean" files are stored, is it bad that playing detective right now trying to figure this breakage out is almost more thrilling and entertaining than actually playing the game for me?

I'm on day 3+ of no sleep and tinkering away. No idea what possibly could be the culprit, it's always the same nif no matter what I do.

Wish I had the money in the bank, or my pocket to put in the bank, I'd bite the bullet to grab FO3 GoG to never have to do this ever again.

That being said. I'm past the creative delirium stage and more into the just confused stage. People stumble into shit all the time though, so I'm not discouraged; It wouldn't hurt to know more of what I'm doing though. As it is now, I'm going to town like a surgeon that has never been to medical school, or any school.

Day 7 or whatever day this is now of trying to sort this thing out.

Still no idea, still same error. So, some questions. What is the proper file size of the Point Lookout- Main.bsa? Where is the proper ferriswheelbase.nif supposed to be if not in Point Lookout-Main.bsa? Has anyone been able to get the disc version of F03 and digital version of FNV to patch to 3.2 TTW? And if so, what OS was it on?

I use the GOTY edition for FO3, and the Ultimate edition for FONV, both on DVD. My PointLookout - Main.bsa is 578,858,213 bytes in size. I would assume the ferris wheel nif is in it, but never checked.

And I think there is our problem. My F03 are all from individual discs. The DLCs are from the double pack single discs. And zeta is from that GFWL download.

My point lookout main BSA that won't patch with TTW from the dual discs is 639,535,384 bytes and 639,537,152 bytes on disc.

They very clearly did something to the GOTY edition. I'd have expected bigger though, not smaller.

I got the DLC discs, but I cannot find my DLC downloads, I have no idea where they are, which is rather annoying as I cannot install zeta until I find it.

Was digging through my buddies copy of GoTY FO3 last night. I had no idea that the DLC files were all chunked together. Maybe it wasn't the GoTY edition. I'll have to reask him. Think he said ultimate but that's NV. So it would seem there are multiple types of F03 floating around now. I reinstalled from disk and updated and my Point Lookout Main BSA was still 630ish mb. More than the file that "works" for the TTW installer by about 70mb if the post a few back is accurate.

*edit- Pardon my bad math. And I'll keep looking into variations in files as I come upon them. I don't visit people often.
**edit edit - I put works in quotations because I cannot prove said theory/hypothesis myself, I lack access to the 570mb Point Lookout Main.BSA.

I finally found my DLC backups from GFWL, so I can install and test now. I also have all the retail versions.

Point Lookout Main from the GFW, not GFWL as far as I know, file from the Broken Steel + Point Lookout DLC retail disc version is the issue. Had my buddy run installer with his GoG F03 Point Lookout Main file switched out for mine, it borked same spot, replaced it with his smaller version and it worked fine.

Not sure what the issue is though.
