Thank you so much for all the work you've put into this mod. It's hard for me to fathom just how much effort there must have been to reach this point. I can't wait to dive back into it the first chance I get.

I remember the release of 1.4 like it was yesterday, and 2.9.4 has been so good to me over these last few years; but the day has finally come. I just want to thank the team from the bottom of my heart. You've all stuck through this, made tough calls, and didn't let pressure to release compromise your vision.

A big thanks to the TTW devs and team! I've been following this project for a few years now and was elated to find a community that was so alive and committed. You guys have done amazing work. I look forward to once again exploring the Mojave and Capital Wastelands. Cheers!

Thank you to the TTW developers, not just for the latest version, but for all versions that you've put out there for us to use.
While I'll be sticking with the old version for a little while longer, I appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into making this a reality.
Without Tale of Two Wastelands, I don't think I would have ever gotten around to playing Fallout 3. I like the Mojave Wasteland, and I fell prey to the vicious rumors about Fallout 3 being full of bugs, that the engine wasn't even 1.0, that the enemies were all bullet sponges, etc. And yet, one Steam Summer sale long ago, I bought Fallout 3 because it was cheap, with the intent to play it once I was done with my New Vegas run. Then Skyrim came out... Needless to say, by the time I was done there, I had the itch for New Vegas again. Wasn't until fairly recently that I stumbled over TTW, and decided to give it a good try, because I figured if I didn't really like it, I'd just ignore the Fallout 3 part and play New Vegas.
As a result, I'm glad I tried it. Two main quests, 8.5 story-based DLC's, 1 major content pack, and one character through it all. (I count Broken Steel as only half of a DLC, by the way, if you were wondering which one gets cut short. Extending the main story and eliminating the 'your story ends here' does not make a whole DLC.)
So again, thank you to everyone involved in making TTW a success. I'll upgrade to 3.x once I finish my current run, though that may take a good while. I'm kinda doing everything in a loose order, and I just got beamed aboard an alien space-ship, so... Yeah, I've still got all of New Vegas to do.

A Big Thank You for Roy Batty and everyone who has helped in any way to bring the Tale of Two Wastelands into the awesome 3.2 version!
Just got all of the installing done, had to erase my heavily loose-file and mod-loaded old F3 and FNV installs in any case, so I went with new GoG versions of the games for clean installs this time. For the TTW 3.2 installer, I turned off all antivirus programs and closed my firewall so that nothing else can unnecessarily auto-update itself while the installer runs - Even though I've still got a somewhat old i5 3570K based computer with Win7 and 16 gigs of ram, I was able to complete the TTW3.2 installer run in about one hour and 19 minutes on an SSD, (CPU usage was almost hundred percent across all cores). Then I unblocked the firewall and I went with the Mod Organizer1 option, this required a little bit of adjustments to get the game working - I was able to launch the game by starting the MO1 manually as administrator and choosing to run the New Vegas exe via MO1 - for some unknown reason the Fallout Launcher via MO1 option could not run the game for me, I kept getting the MO access denied 5 error, which usually means that something else is interfering with MO (dunno what it could be, I know it is not antivirus in my case). The main NV executable via MO1 works perfectly fine, however.
Played a bit, got out through Vault 101 and already noticed that tons of bugs must have been fixed there, NPCs were behaving and moving around better etc - It was a much improved experience overall. Thanks again for the new and shiny version of my all time favorite mod! Keep up the good work!
