So I just uninstall the one update and then everything should be fine? What about further Windows updates?

Well fuck. Talk about being up shit creek without a paddle. I was really having fun playing through FO3 with the mechanics of New Vegas.

I've been trying to tinker

Post by justjim89 » Tue Sep 27, 2016 12:12 am

I've been trying to tinker with this and I'm still confused what is actually conflicting. I've tried disabling my ENB, disabling TTW and all associated mods, disabling ALL mods, disabling Geforce Experience overlay, but nothing works and nothing changes. My New Vegas is just unplayable now. Sorry for the double post, but this is just incredibly frustrating and confusing and I have no idea if my install is salvageable or if I just need to wait for a fix to come. What is the windows update in conflict with?

So the only solution is to

So the only solution is to never update my graphics drivers? That's lame. I wish there was an actual fix coming, but I won't hold my breath.

Newer is not always better. I

Newer is not always better. I'm still on 365.19

They routinely drop support for older generation hardware when new things comes out. Been that way all along.

Microsoft already announced they would be dropping support for older hardware some time ago. They are going to stop with the backwards compatibility because it costs them money to retain it and holds back progression. From a business standpoint it's smart to do, from a user standpoint it sucks.
