PipBoy not showing up, even after disabling Readius mod

I know the Readius Mod is not supported with TTW, but did not run into any problems when entering/exiting the simulation, so I continued to use it. But, now as I am trying to enter New Vegas, Doc Mitchell takes away my Pipboy and does not appear in my hands when I exit his house. So I go back to a previous save (right before i board the train) and load up the save file without Readius installed. Turns out it does not even show up there right before I board the train. I then disable all the mods, strip down (had a Samus texture mod), reload it, and I still do not have the default Pipboy. is there any fix to this? before I try Familiar Friend?

Have you tried the time-honored console commands? "player.additem 15038 1" followed by "player.equipitem 15038"


My computer specs are too embarrassing to reveal, but the game still runs.

For future reference, unchecking the readius plugin does not 'disable' it like most mods. You have to go through the uninstall in it's menu.
