Certain npcs not talking

Post by Creamy Raccoon » Fri Aug 14, 2015 3:53 am

I don't know that is causing this issue but certain npcs (scavengers, hunters, and wastelanders) dialog only says "What do you need" then ends.  I've know Russell causes problems but reading other threads says TTWFixes solves that.  Other users say it's their bashed patch.  Suggestions on how to solve the problem would be appreciated.

I know this is supposed to be fixed in the latest edition but you may want to disable Russell esp and see if that fixes the issue.

My computer specs are too embarrassing to reveal, but the game still runs.

I use Russell and don't have this issue anymore. Try speaking to them several times.

Speaking to the npcs multiple times didn't work.  When disabling the bashed patch it worked.

Bashed patches shouldn't be including dialogues, disable that.

The game merges dialogues at run time.

Should I just delete the entire dialogue branch from the bash patch? I merged them all by hand a while ago - I too am experiencing this bug with random traders mostly, I also use Russell but I'm thinking he isn't that great so I might get rid of him.
