GECK crashes when trying to save FO3 mod convert

Post by Parsons41286 » Thu Mar 26, 2015 5:31 pm

Hello, new to this whole thing and I've looked through the forum as much as I could for an answer. I'm trying to convert FO3 mod to TTW following RoyBatty and BelGarion's youtube videos and ChuckSteel's PDF. Everything is working great with FNVEdit, I load it up into GECK using power up and NVSE, recompile the scripts and save it to the script I have open. I go to save it overall to the actual plug-in, and it crashes. I've deleted every trace of it off my computer and re-downloaded and re-installed it. Keeps happening, no matter what. I have the .ini  configured to allow multiple masters. Load order on the masters are all good under FNVEdit's file header. Still showing it as a FO3 mod with 0.94. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Perhaps the mod has some other errors in it. Try scanning it for errors after the initial conversion process with FNVEdit and before loading it into the GECK.

Is that when a whole bunch of stuff comes up in red? It has plenty of those :( How do you go about fixing those in Edit? Should I correct the values so they all match?

red means conflict (record is overwritten by something later in your load order), what you want to do is rightclick > check for errors.  that'll pull up all the errors in a list on the right pane so you can go in and fix them

perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.
