Having an odd problem with UI mods

Post by whaleonstiltz » Fri Apr 03, 2015 3:15 am

So earlier today I was trying to merge some .esp's together to reduce my load order and I merged some light UI mods together. I opened up my game and now the menu isn't showing up and I need to use task manager to close it. I disabled the merged .esp I made and re-enabled the original .esp's and the problem is still there. I didn't edit any game files, just made the merged .esp. I tried reinstalling my UI mods using RoyBatty's method of installing UI mods in his darn's patch thread but it's still not working. All the mods I had worked fine until this so I'm not reaching load order limit and using optimizer textures didn't help. UIO isn't reporting any problems in the log file either so I'm not even sure if it's really a UI problem but it seems likely. I'm hoping someone can tell me what I can try or if I right fucked my game merging plugins. Any help is appreciated.

edit: It seems UIO thinks I have mods that do not and adds the hud elements. This is probably my problem, anyone know how to stop this from happening?

If you used to have the mods, uninstalled the mods, and added a mod that conflicts with another mod you still have installed, UIO cries in the corner till you fix your shit.

Could be anything though. Load order etc.
