missing texture/mesh

Post by freakydoo » Fri Dec 27, 2013 7:35 pm

got the big red explanation mark in rivet city, market place, i'm using ttw 2.4. did a manual install, changed .ini as instructed. pic provided. following load order indicates the last order i used for trouble shooting purposes. if anyone happens to know what belongs there i will gladly pull it from the .bsa. but with out knowing what and where the needed file is located... well needle in a haystack and no magnet. also i do have texture replacers in place. Your missing mesh is the pool

Post by chucksteel » Fri Dec 27, 2013 7:51 pm

Your missing mesh is the pool triangle but the issue is on your end because I just looked at the cell and the model works with vanilla TTW.

wasn't casting blame. just

Post by freakydoo » Fri Dec 27, 2013 7:53 pm

didn't say it was the fault of TTW and wasn't casting blame. just giving as much info as possible and looking for an answer.

thank you

edit: i fixed the issue by deleting a triangle.nif file within the mesh/clutter/ folders probably put there by one of my other mods. not the best fix but it works. i would like to say i love TTW and appreciate all the work that's been put into it. whenever possible i try to give as much info as possible. id rather give to much than to little. most of the time if i post on here for help it's because i need one small bit of info. in this case "triangle.nif" plus maybe where it's located in the folders would have been plenty. what i'm not trying to do is say all my issues are TTW's fault and to my knowledge i never have. i'm not trying to put you all on the defensive regarding your hard work here i'm just trying to make my game work properly regardless whose at fault and yes i take ownership and realize that 98.98273941390% of the time i am the one to blame

again chuck thank you the very simple answer you gave was exactly what i needed.

Post by freakydoo » Fri Dec 27, 2013 9:08 pm

i am indeed using precision collision. so that does answer my curiosity about what went wrong and even better that tid-bit of knowledge might help the next person whose having the same issue. do you know if the auther of that mod is aware of the issue?

thank you!
