radio question?

I was playing "The Mantis Imperative" conversion. When I got the Mantis Radio it only plays a few seconds of a song before going to the next. Do mp3s need a particular bitrate in FONV or should they all be convertted to a different format entirely?

128 kbps .mp3 will work. As will higher and lower bitrates, but I don't think that VBR is read.

Thanks for the info; I suspected as much but just wasn't sure.

I did convert my 192 kbs to 128 kbs and neither speeds work; it still only plays the first few seconds of most songs.
