Faction reputation question or Shot on sight at Tenpenny Towers

Having a lot of fun with the FONV faction reputation in the DC Wasteland, but had a question of the "is it a bug or a feature?" variety. Was using TTW 2.7 and have upgraded to 2.8


If you kill Burke are you supposed to go instantly to Vilified at Tenpenny Towers?


Also does anyone know what the faction IDs are for Megaton and Tenpenny Towers?


I'm also getting what look like random increases in Infamy at Megaton and was hoping to adjust it.


I've tried to look up the faction IDs in FNVEdit then use the Addreputation faction ID 0/1 (type) amount console command and it doesn't recognize the faction ID I've supplied.


Any help would be appreciated.

Because you don't need to out run a Deathclaw.
You just need to out run your companions (Just bring a lot of companions in case the Deathclaw is really hungry!).

the LO number of your reps plugin might be off, which can be caused by stupid things like "the crap packs are in my data folder but i didn't enable them, but the game loaded them anyway"


perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

Found it.


PEPKAC problem.


I was using the faction ID because the console command was listed as setreputation <faction id> 0/1 amount.


I was checking out TTW Reputations mod in FNVEdit and saw there that after the faction section there was a reputation section listed. I open it up and there were all the DC Wasteland factions listed with a reputation ID. So I tried the command using the reputation ID. Worked like a charm.


Anyway the console command "setreputation ##0017EA 0 5" should set your reputation for Tenpenny Towers to shunned (where ## is the TTW Reputation mod  index number. That way they won't shoot you on sight. They won't like you but they will take your caps while charging top cap.


Doing "setreputation @@0017EA 1 90" will make you idolized at Tenpenny towers.

It is working great otherwise, but I'll drop it once I head West.

dunno, possibly.  haven't looked at it.  logically, if you kill burke, you can still get the speaker convo with garcia or whomever, and i'm guessing resolving the ghoul issue will give you pos rep.

might need a carebear mode then for first approach.  like how NV's reputations mean pretty much jack shit until act 2.

Overall, is there any work being done on this plugin atm?

team's been working on fixing companions lately.  we'll get to it, TTW gets precedence over optionals work usually.
