I disabled every single mod I

Post by rbroab » Thu Feb 14, 2013 2:15 am

I disabled every single mod I have. Created a clean save. Enabled The Groovatron NV.esp and still nothing. It did not show up. And thanks for pointing out the TTW position problem. Anyway, as soon as I get it all working, I'll go in and fine tune everything.

Well for whoever is left, I

Post by rbroab » Thu Feb 14, 2013 4:05 am

Well for whoever is left, I need help. I have used clean saves, used new and old versions, used nothing but the Groovatron on my mod list, and removed/added archive invalidation.

Not sure if it helps, but whenever I disable the Groovatron mod and load a save where it should have been added to my inventory, the game doesn't give me that warning saying something like "This save relies on content which is...blah blah blah."

At this point I'm pretty desperate. Any ideas will help me out.

The only other thing i can

Post by cjb135691 » Thu Feb 14, 2013 4:36 am

The only other thing i can think of that i could suggest you try is. If you haven't done this to begin with. Try installing it all, (both versions) manually and not with mod manager. It can sometimes not install parts of mods correctly i've found. If that doesn't work, i'm not sure what else i can tell you to try. I've said everything i know would work.

I install all of my mods

Post by rbroab » Thu Feb 14, 2013 4:41 am

I install all of my mods manually. Unless it can only be used with a mod manager. I don't know, I'm pretty sure something wacky is going on because I have gone through all of the main fixes, yet none of them have worked. It would be one thing if the mod wasn't compatible with another mod, but seeing as it won't work even as the only mod in my game, i gets frustrating. Thanks for your time though. It sucks that it isn't working, but I appreciate you taking the time to help me.

Dunno if it'll work, but try

Dunno if it'll work, but try this:

Download the FO3 version and extract to your desktop. If you don't get a "data" (no quotes) folder with the files inside make one and drop all the files/folders in. Delete the FO3 esp and replace with the NV esp. Zip it up and pretend you downloaded that pack exactly like that from NV nexus, and by that I mean install it with FOMM like it came that way. Next enable or remove all mods in your data folder, because even a mod that's not enabled can screw sh.. up. Then hit up the Mod downloads page right here on TTW.com and grab up TTWInteriors combined because I noticed you don't have it and it's freakin cool. (Not really mandatory but I'm all about plugging TTW and it's mods. It's lore friendly and adds more Fallout to Fallout, and there's nothing wrong with that at all.) Next you'll wanna use FOMM's BOSS autosort function or BOSS. Step 63: Reorder your TTW mods because FOMM will get them out of order when you run it. Make sure your TTW.esm is right under Zeta.esm. Step 4 thousand 7 hundred and 62 will be to fire up FNVEdit and create a merged patch if you haven't one. Lastly: Give er a shot. I've no idea if any of this will cure your issue but this would be my semi-educated guess of how to get it working.

(I know it's easier to type 4762 but typing it that way added some dramatic effect.)

(Also know there's not that many steps.)

Wow, my savior again...Well

Post by rbroab » Thu Feb 14, 2013 5:07 am

Wow, my savior again...Well you've been 2 for 2 so far, let's see if we can make it 3 for 3.

First, I removed all of the mod esp's and esm's from the data folder, keeping only the DLC and Fallout 3 and Fallout NV. (Hoping that's what you meant.)

My bad, misread your post a bit. Got the BOSS Autosort figured out.

Finally, I have use FNVEdit and changed some files that were overwriting one another (Like the .32 ammo problem) but I don't know how to create a merged patch.

Nah don't completely clean

Post by TJ » Thu Feb 14, 2013 5:28 am

Nah don't completely clean your load order except for the DLC and F3/NV, alls I meant was if it's unchecked/you're not using it uninstall the mod til you wanna use it. It's ok to leave it in the package manager, but if it's in your load order it should either have a check or not be in your load order. Also for anything FO3 to work TTW.esm (TaleOfTwoWastelands.esm) is mandatory.

FNVEdit Merged patches will smash all the lists in various mods into one list, which helps to make sure you're getting full access to the mods you've install. Bashed is more powerful, but also alot more advanced. Wouldn't even recommend it to anyone because if you know how to get the prog working and make the patch you probably don't need a recommendation from me. So merged patch: Old school xEdit 3.0.21 and earlier (The x here stands for whatever game you're using it for, in this case it's FNVEdit. Just easier to type it that way) all you have to do is right click in the mod list on the left and click create merged patch. Next Gen xEdit 3.0.22 (or .23, can't remember exactly when they switched it) you right click as before> Other> create merged patch.

Post by rbroab » Thu Feb 14, 2013 5:36 am

Just wanted to say thanks in advance. I'm going to uninstall mods I'm not using, and reorganizing my load order. So in case you're not here, thanks for your help and I'll respond when I finish and let you know how it goes.
