Project Nevada Cyberware

Anybody having any issues with PN's Cyberware Module with TTW? I'm in the Mojave, trying to get an implant installed by Julie Farkas. What happens is that after Julie starts doing her thing and time passes, my character drops dead from dehydration. I've tried turning Hardcore Mode off prior to getting the implant, but right when I turned it back on, death still happened. Kinda wish there was a way to just take away the huge passage of time that happens during the implant procedure.


But yeah, is there a fix, that anyone knows of? Here's my load order if it helps. I'm also using Project Nevada's default timescale, which is 20.

I already have four arm

I already have four arm implants correctly installed (perk 2x per arm) and have taken the 2x perk for legs.


There is an implant in each leg now (tread damp and increased carry), and I have one more of each ready for each leg to install, so 4 total with perk as allowed.


However, when I go to doctor (Pinkerton, Preston via book, or Citadel med robot) I go through the dialog as normal, accept, etc. but then screen turns black and stays black apparently hung.  Music sometimes normal, sometimes stuck in short loop. Exit to task manager shows FNV as 'not responding'.


Troubleshooting:


1) I have tried setting MCM PN to zero time for implants (was at default before for arms)


2) tried to install both implants at once, then tried one implant at a time with each doctor. Tried to remove implants, and tried to buy something from doctor first, then do implant, but nothing helped.


3) in FNVedit there appears to be no conflicts with PN Cyberware and esms, or More Perks mod, though perks for Cyberware are part of its mod according to readme.


Any other insight or troubleshooting suggestions welcome... Has this happened to anyone else?

Cyberware has always been weird, and it will even crash if you try to remove implants installed by another doctor. I would try having each doctor remove the implants you had them install, then using only one of the doctors to install any implants.

Had to go back to an earlier save before I asked that Citadel robot to install cyberware parts even though that request for install failed. Preston was the only doctor to install parts on me previously.  Also set MCM PN cyberware time to install to zero, though not sure if truly required to solve bug.


Then I had Preston remove the single leg implants (FYI asking him to do this earlier in troubleshooting did not work - I had to go back to a pre-robot save) and then have him re-install all 4 leg parts at once.  Now I'm styling in complete bionic legs!


EDIT: beyond what RoyB advised, and to clarify, I suggest to avoid any questioning/requests to other doctors about cyberware implants after you've had work done. Simply asking another doctor seems to cause the bug.
