So what are some reasons as to why this mod will not function properly with TTW? Anybody know any deficiencies that FO3 mods might have when being used in New Vegas? I'm guessing this is the main problem, the conversion process is probably not converting everything properly or something.

Anything else? Such as FO3 assets not being compatible with FONV or something? There has to be a reason why this doesn't work, its not just random.

If the problem is related to coding then I can do that. I've never modded before, but I know how to program, I don't think Fallout's language is any more complex than other languages.

Ok when I get the time I'll look them up, I'll see if I can do this. I don't think the functions and keywords will be all that different, and from what I've seen Fallout's language looks like its high level, so it may end up being easier to use.

I had an idea... It's probably no easier than trying to convert FO3 MZC and I'm not sure how popular the idea would be, buuuut thought It'd be worth throwing out anyway. Especially with talk of a New Vegas start.

Basically, instead of a FO3 MZC Conversion, a homebrew mod that follows the idea of the Vegas TSC embassy: In this version Zeta and Zeta Crew are already completed and done (by someone else who takes up the mantle of commander). Instead of being the commander here, you join TSC Via the Vegas or Rivet City embassy, rise through the ranks that way, etc. You get access to Zeta, but not as the commander. Instead you get your room in the crew level (which would actually give that some actual use rather than just being eye candy.)  The higher your rank though the better your room.

On top of that, if you're a Black Guard or Thunderfist, you might get a note from the Commander suggesting which side you should side with.

Transversely, a FO3 MZC Conversion should probably include or have a patch for the Vegas TSC one too. Basically just dialog changes to reflect your commander status, since as the commander it would make no sense if you went to the New Vegas Embassy and everyone treated you like some walk-in waster.

Combined another MZC thread with this original one.

A little difficult when the forum doesn't have a "search" feature.  At least that I know of.

As much as that seems to happen we should have a bright orange searchbox or something...

All good. Maybe we SHOULD highlight it a bit more. I guess I assume that most people know how to search a site with google (site:www.taleoftwowastelands.com).
