NV 4G Enabler and ENB Problems [Solution Found!]

Post by The 3rd Type » Wed Sep 25, 2013 11:04 pm

Using the latest versions of ENB and 4GBEnabler, ENB will only run if I use the NVSE Loader, not the 4GB one.

Anyone have any info on this? Kind of forced to use the latest version of 4GBEnabler due to using Windows 8.

EDIT: I found a solution, and its to simply not use NV4GBEnabler an instead use a program like NTCore to make the New Vegas Script Extender loader itself LAA (Large Address Aware)

This actually works much better than the actual 4GBEnabler itself and I'm getting a huge FPS boost even with ENB enabled. I highly recommend googling NTCore and using the program to make your NVSE Loader LAA if you are having the problem I had.

Install the injector version of ENB, Create a shortcut to the 4GBEnabler and add this to the target

Just use this other fonv 4gb patch for enbs. Follow the instructions. I am using the 4gb patch with nvse and midhrastic enb wrapper. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55061/?

@T3T: The solution I found

@T3T: The solution I found was to remove your d3d9.dll from your FNV folder. Put it in your FNV4GB folder and copy it to the exe folder that FNV4GB makes. An added benefit of this is your FNV will load enb, but GECK will totally ignore it because it's not in the same folder.
