Megaton Upgrades in New Vegas

This is my first post here, i enjoy a lot the tale of two wastelands and playing again Fallout 3 campaign made me miss the house upgrades that werent added to New Vegas so i was digging on GECK if i could add the house upgrades like My First Laboratory, My First Infirmary and Pristine vending machine but i couldnt find them into geck, i was able to find them using FNVEdit, if anybody knows if i missed something, the GECK cant find all FO3 objects or something, i appreciate; almost forgot, i want to use them in novac hotel room so if there is such a mod like that anywhere or anyone is willing to make it i would like to know, will save me from headcache.

When you open GECK, make sure

When you open GECK, make sure you only "tick" the taleoftwowastelands.esm. This will make the GECK load only the plugins that TTW needs an not miss or load any superfluous ones.


You can go to the categories:




  • World Objects


    • Containers (for the Nuka Cola Machine)


    • Activator    (for the My First Laboratory and My First Infirmary)




And use the filter box on the top to find the items you're looking for. Their ID are:




  • Nuka Cola Machine ID:


    • HD01NukaVendingMachineClean


      • ^ Megaton's One ^




    • HD02NukaVendingMachineClean


      • ^ Tenpenny's One ^






  • My First Laboratory ID:


    • HD00LabSet




  • My First Infirmary ID:


    • HD00InfirmSet

Thanks for the info, i found the infirmary and laboratory and the vending machine scripts that makes nuka cola ice cold but not the activator, i only loaded FalloutNV.esm and DeadMoney.esm because if i try load any other master file it says: Multiple master files selected for load. Load operation aborted. so i cant even load taleoftwowastelands.esm BUT im not really sure if it wasnt really loaded and the GECK was saying it different because i found the infirmary and laboratory and i already used them in a cell and they work perfectly, just the vending machine i cant find, my guess it its a normal vending machine with a script to work only in Tenpenny tower and Megaton house.

You need to set up the GECK to load multiple masters. Google it, there are guides everywhere.

You need to set up the GECK to load multiple masters. Google it, there are guides everywhere.

Thanks guys i got the nuka machine, im just having a problem with the default fridge in novac player room i move it to somewhere else into GECK but in game it stays in the default position but thats not a big problem, now im just adding some extra stuff like posters and etc when i feel like its finished i might upload the mod on nexus but just to make sure, do i have to ask anybody permission to upload it? im only using objects from fo3 and nv and its dlcs, nothing from users.

If you don't use any assets from other mods, then you can upload your mod without a problem.


Just remember that the Nexus does not allow links to the TTW site. So you can (and should) say that your mod is only for TTW, but don't link (or share the url) to our site in any way. smiley

It doesn't move because it's persistent and in your save file. Try leaving the room and waiting 3 days so the cell resets.
