DarN should be installed
DarN should be installed first, you don't need to allow stuff to overwrite darn anymore, and shouldn't. UIO handles all that at runtime.

I tried installing DarnUI TTW Edition, even followed the installation instructions, but I couldn't get use iHud or aHud (which is what Arkngt said works for him).

iHud/aHud/oHud are not compat
iHud/aHud/oHud are not compat with the Ultimate version, get v0.4 from the Beth forums if you want to use those features until I get the gumption to add them.

Don't you get the iHUD and
Don't you get the iHUD and aHUD menus in MCM - or do you get them but they don't do anything?
@RoyBatty, oHUDs aHUD works for me with the Ultimate Edition, at least the features I've tested, such as moving HUD parts etc.

Ahh see I'm hearing
Ahh see I'm hearing conflicting opinions lol. I'd like to get DarnUI TTW working with oHud like Arkngt, but if all else fails I have no problems going back to the regular version. But even that version doesn't seem to be working for me right now.
I get the menus in MCM but I'm unable to use them, I can't check them and when I try to move it nothing happens. Actually I don't even had a HUD on my game besides the crosshairs and the grenade hotkey, so I need some help with that as well.

Right. Works for me as said,
Right. Works for me as said, although I haven't tried all features. But you'd want DarN's UI to work as intended first before you add other HUD mods anyway, so I'd focus on that.

Mine is not an opinion since
Mine is not an opinion since I made a lot of it. They only work if you allow them modify the hud_mainmenu.xml , which gopher's mods were designed for DarN 0.4. The one I work on has MANY changes and it will break functionality of some things, as well as break future functionality when I do add the menu options.
The menu's are placeholders because I wrote the MCM menu all at once, implementing the other features was beyond my skill level at the time but reserved for future expansion. My skill level now is up to the task of implementing those features, I just haven't gotten back to it yet. I work on TTW and about 20 other mods you see, so I juggle things.

@Arkngt Yea, I'll try
@Arkngt Yea, I'll try uninstalling everything, installing DarnUI and oHud, and then reinstalling everything else.
@RoyBatty No I understand, I didn't mean to sound like I was questioning your knowledge of your own mod. The new features of DarnUI TTW are really incredible, but I just can't sacrifice iHud and aHud (especially since I hate the vanilla placement of the compass) so I'd rather switch over to the old Darn, at least until a new update for your version comes out, which I understand might not be anytime soon seeing as you're a very busy individual.
I guess step 1 is getting my ui to work at all, any ideas besides just uninstalling all the hud mods and reinstalling them in the order of Darnified UI, MCM, oHud, and UIO, and then the rest of the UI mods? I also want to use Thin Hud, it doesn't seem like it'd conflict with anything since it works fine with DarnUI but with TTW i just don't know.

OK, I'll uninstall oHUD for
OK, I'll uninstall oHUD for now. I don't use any features in it anyway, except for the hide menu one and not even that so often.
BTW, Roxas, how do you install mods? Without a mod manager you can mess up things a lot if installing/uninstalling HUD mods (and other things as well), but with a mod manager it's rather safe as it will restore the previous files if installing/uninstalling something over it. Also, make sure you're using Archive Invalidation.
