Form List *Forms - what do they and are they needed?

I'm trying to make a mod that adds millenias weapons to leveled lists, first and foremost the ones that aren't included in Weapons of the New Millenium and thus not handled already by other mods distributing them.


So I'm using an *Edit merge script (Merge Plugins Script v1.9.0) to merge the weapons from the separate plugin together and I notice that it creates Form Lists named the same as my plugin, so:


TTWWotNMUDForms - which has lots of the edits from the plugins in its list, for example the leveled lists, but also sounds and other stuff.


The separate plugins sometimes has Form Lists like it, as for example:


SVUForms - for the Dragunov SVU weapon. On the other hand, he has no Form List like that for the Browning M1935 pistol.


So I wonder what these forms actually do and if they are needed? The ones created by the Merge script seem almost haphazard.

The merged script FLSTs aren't needed for anything, it's just to keep track of what came from what mod. FLSTs in general are used in a lot of places.

Thanks, I'll just delete them then. And I'll keep the ones millenia has made in his plugins.


EDIT: Doublechecking millenia's plugins, they all seem to be added by the merge scripting rather, so I'll just remove them all.


EDIT: Actually, now I see why they are created by the script - so you can see what comes from which mod when they are merged. Clever.
