I've downloaded Point look out reborn and replaced the .esm with the TTW version as instructed but its not appearing in my LO on FOMM? Its says that the mod has been properly installed but nothing there. Would it still work? I cant test for myslef currently as I'm not up to PL yet, and the nexus page says the mod works best when you havent yet reach PL so I just want to be careful not to mess anything up

Yeah, I just copy everything
Yeah, I just copy everything by hand and use FOMM to turn things on or off. Works great that way.

As long as the .esm is in the NV/Data folder, it should appear in the LO no matter what.

If you wanna have even MORE
If you wanna have even MORE fun with manual installing, try making BSAs for every mod you can. You can actually convert most loose mods into BSAs, which cleans up things tremendously, and makes turning mods on and off super-easy. I use the archive program from the CK - it works great as long as you don't check the compression box.

I have had pretty much zero
I have had pretty much zero trouble with FOMM itself so i'll stick with it for now. The problems I've had so far have been conflicts which I now know how to fix.....Mostly. Still new to modding :P
I'll try a manual install when I'm done at work, but I'm not hopeful it will work. The regular FO3 version will appear in my LO, but the version with converted .esm does not which is strange

Nope, manual install didn't
Nope, manual install didn't change anything, not in LO. It appears without the converted .esm as said before but I doubt it would work without it. NMM says it has installed correctly so I guess I'll just have to wait till i reach pl?

Look, I haven't download the
Look, I haven't downloaded the full mod files in nexus, but just as a quick test/check for you, I went and got the .esm attached by Roy in this post.

I extracted the .esm and placed it in my NV/Data folder, and it already shows in load order, how can it not appear for you??

I used the TTW version of PLR
I used the TTW version of PLR myself. If you copy it into the game data folder, it will show up in FOMM unless you didn't setup FOMM correctly, or if you try to use multiple mod managers at the same time. Half the time you say FOMM, and then mention NMM - sounds like you're trying to use different mod managers on the same game, and that never works.

NMM uses virtual folders, you
NMM uses virtual folders, you'll have to install the esm manually in NMM. Also you should have replaced the esm in the mod archive instead and installed that.
