Project Nevada - Presets

Post by TheKidHenry » Sat Mar 21, 2015 6:23 pm

So I want to try Fallout New Vegas as a more hardcore experience. I use project nevada, and like the settings you can tweak, especially the presets they offer in pn extra options. the main thing I am looking for is that combat is much more lethal for BOTH SIDES. I do not want a "challenge" that gimps my character while making my enemies super soldiers. I want bullets to pack a punch, headshots to be lethal, and battles to be quick for both the player and enemies. what project nevada - extra options preset should I pick?

Hard Hardcore or FWE-esque.

Hard Hardcore or FWE-esque. Hard Hardcore is harder, but you should go through rebalance and look at the settings it has.

When it comes to dmg I like

When it comes to dmg I like the dmg of Realistic weapon damage or panzer. Very high dmg you die fast, npcs die fast. You will die a lot with both if you fuck up.

Thanks for the responses! Would using FWE esque + realistic weapon damage be a good idea?

Mske sure to get the TTW

Just make sure to get the TTW conversion of Realistic weapon damage (otherwise a lot of the FO3 DLC enemies will be unchanged).
