Is there a .7z with recommended mods?

Post by xGloriousLeader » Thu Aug 20, 2015 8:44 pm

Hey all!

I've been looking through the posts on this forum and I can't seem to find anything that has a downloadable archive with a pack of mods. I am looking at doing TTW for the first time and finally have it installed and I am ready to start my mod frenzy. I am looking at the list of converted mods and it is really long and I am wanting almost all of these mods but they require manual downloads.

Would it be possible to have these things uploaded as packs?

Building a mod pack would

Building a mod pack would require getting permissions from everyone who ever had anything to do with the mods included in said pack and keeping it updated would be a nightmare.

Just download the ones you like and install them using FOMM or MO or something. It's pretty easy to do. Some of the larger mods require you to merge FO3 and FNV versions together and then use a given esp or esm patch. These aren't difficult to do either if you follow the given instructions to the letter.

Use this guide to help build your load list: https://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/load-order-general-guide

Also follow Roy Batty's simple guide to making a Merged Patch with FNVEdit to make sure everything is playing nicely together: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yq-fqpL5LqE

And don't use NVEC, it will break in TTW and cause other issues.
