Is there a TTW mod that makes some NPCs essential?

Like quest NPCs die too easily since there's a ton of supermutants everywhere on the Capital Wasteland.

It's usually the ones that go with you (temporary companions) or ones you need to escort.

As someone who just had to reload a save, because the quest giver got killed. That being Officer Lepelletier in Rivet City. This is still a problem, it appears that some Talon Mercs had spawned in as I arrived at Rivet City. Lepelletier runs off and gets herself killed. I had to toggle off combat AI and AI in general to stop her dying.

Do not "placeatme" a specific actor like that. Scripts often refer to a specific reference and placeatme would create a new reference. If you don't know what you're doing, don't go around using the console like that.

Though it doesn't touch FO3 Characters, you can add their form IDs to the list.

I'm using it myself and it still works. I started using it to stop quest NPCs that I needed dying.
