Does anyone know why this is the happening with LOD I'm making for 'The Mall'? I can't seem to figure it out, is this some sort of settings problem in the GECK? Basically, it seems that FalloutNV is only rendering one uGrid at a time in this area.


It is the ONLY area that's doing this; and I've even tried rebuilding the terrain mesh (and it fixes the land problem) but NOT the object LOD problem. Is there a maximum limit to the number of LOD objects or something?

There is a limit to the number of LOD objects in a block, which I think is 16,384 triangles.


Otherwise, try checking 'high priority' on references that are also visible when distant.

for some reason I assumed new vegas improved lod would be compatible but I'm guessing it's not and doesn't do anything? so I'm highly interested in this baby

Hm, that doesn't appear to make a difference. It's interesting that it's only DCWorld09 (The Mall) that's affected. Bethseda must've manually made the LOD for it or something... because it literally won't render the capitol building, at all, until i'm practically in front of it.


So weird........ I'm completely at a loss, it's the ONLY area that doesn't work (and even if I try compiling an unmodded version of it, I get the same result).


I think I need that FNVLODTool........

How did you fix the Missing Water_Bathtub_LOD.nif issue? I am having the same problem. Every time I think I have something in the CK fixed... something new breaks.
