I was considering that. But as part of the fallout humor I elected to a British invasion would be best for what this mod is aiming to achieve.

Chapter II:
After you warn Zoomzoom (Bigtown), Monroe (Megaton), Mary (Underworld), Xander (Commons), Cheif Billy (Tempenny Tower), you then have to warn Reverend Paul (Rivet City) of the invasion, Reverend Paul tells you to meet him atop of the Rivet City tower, with his assistant Arnold Benson. When there you see about 30 troops enter Rivet City, and then Arnold Benson runs inside. You and Paul have to climb down a ladder that puts you on the flight deck. When there you have to kill about 8 troops, and then climb down another ladder into the water. Now Paul is scripted to swim to about where the Riverboat Landing is. He then gives you a Lee Enfield and 35 .308 rounds, and tells you to meet him at the Citadel entrance. When there "Invading The Wastes" begins. After you speak to Paul, Paladin Adam Samulson comes out to greet you. He says he knows about the attack on Rivet City, and then he asks for your help to clean up some of the troops across the wasteland. You set off to kill a group of troops at Arlington Library, Washington Monument, and Super-Duper Mart. When they are killed, you trigger a scripted event and Commander Edward, and about 12 troops show up as you are leaving the location. He then says "I'm sorry chap, I truly am, but this country is ours now. God save the king." Then he takes out a pistol and shoots you in the head. (Ain't that a kick in the head.)

I feel that it might work a great deal better if you do two things, although may I say, this mod looks awesome.
1) Add a little moral ambiguity - don't make it a straight 'MERIKUH power fantasy. Maybe, like the Legion, the British offer safety at the price of freedom. They shouldn't be complete and utter monsters, unless those on the player's side quickly take a turn for the worse (which will be hard to write in).
2) The British actually have some practicality. They're going up against power-armoured Brotherhood Paladins, so for them to present a credible threat, they're going to need some sort of advantage. Maybe the British have the descendents of the SAS on their side clad in British power armour? Or maybe mutated claymore-wielding Scottish Highlanders? Who knows! The possibilities are endless.
Also, I might be Australian, but everyone says I sound British, so if you need a VA, count me in!

Chapter III: You awake in a cell without your gear, with a body, and looting it you'll get a lore note, and a lockpick. Lockpick the very easy door, and either dash past the 2 guards chatting or sneak past them to a chest, and you grab your stuff. Kill the guards. You walk out and find yourself on a Man of War in the Potomac bay. Then King George walks up, and your weaponry are holstered. He asks you to help him, or leave, just the once. This leads too 3 paths

Focus on getting the items
Focus on getting the items working first, that way if you decide not to work on the mod anymore you'll still have the items that people probably would like.
