Honestly, I found MO game tweaking a lot easier, mainly due to the fact you don't have to tweak very much. Installation order doesn't matter, you don't have to reinstall a mod or set of mods if you install another *glares at every UI mod*. So long as you perform a clean start, and follow the MO tutorial the first time through, it's all fairly easy to pick up as you use it.

Because MO uses the virtual folder, there's almost NO tweaking required as far as installation. Once everything is installed you can easily move the installed mods around, and MO will tell you exactly what files in every single mod are interfering with what files in every other mod.

Mod Organizer allows you to have mods in separate folders. Never need to reinstall, and if you install a large mod and dinnae like it (or it is broken tae all bahooey), you just have to get rid of one folder.

That alone makes it worthy of use. And I fail to see what's so difficult about it. I picked it up as fast as I did FMM; you move shizzle up and down, then click play.

The main problem with MO was the UI with FNV/TTW/FO3.

It's over now. MO is the way of the future. It's not so complicated and allow more control on what you want.

The only thing missing form MO is an ENB management plugin and will be nearly prefect!

Seriously I won't be able to go back to FOMM or NMM.

@Gribs, Any chance of doing a tutorial for those of us with less abilities than others?

If life is but a test, where's the damn answer key?!?!?

  1. Nuke Everything.

  2. Install New Vegas

  3. Google "Fear & Loathing In New Vegas"

  4. Follow instructions

Once this is done create a TTW profile. You should be good enough to pull that off by this point.

MO could do better handling of meshes, textures. and archive invalidation too.   In addition, not be so picky on what Python is being used like in the case of FNV Wrye Flash.  But other than what you and I listed, I agree.

Sounds like I shouldn't bother trying to continue a current ttw game. Is that accurate? Also please include a link - the fear and loathing google attempt got me a random mishmash of stuff.

Like most things, you should start with a clean slate but you can do it but of course be careful.
