I keep checking this for posts,


I'd like to thrown in my 2 cents and say that the Doctors and Mechanics that took part in "Dream of Electric Sheep" I think that's the Android quest those guys should be the one's that can get the book and perform the surgery.  Pinkerton I believe he was the guy that ultimately altered the andriod, it's been a while.


Other than that if you make new implants WOW just cool stuff.

Well, I DO have a plan and some ideas for a TTW patch for PN. Planned as part of the EO series of mods and addons. General cleanup, support for armors and weapons with PN features, etc etc. Duplicate records would be removed/overridden where applicable, and many PN items are to be spread around the DC area for a more integrated experience.


I'm definitely open for suggestions on implants. Though they need to be balanced, and provide something unique to the experience that doesn't exist already to make them worth it (implants are a PITA to make/add). If there is an existing implant that does something too similar to a suggested implant, probably not worth implementing.


My plan for TTW support was and is to have a single plugin. I might possibly make a separate one for Rebalance support, but I hate maintaining all those files and PN winds up like FWE with 40 bajillion plugins in your load. The single plugin would:




  1. integrate FO3 and FNV DLC, all PN weapons that are duplicates of FO3 weapons, any duplication of any item would be corrected to a single item.


  2. FO3 uniques that were added to FNV would be removed from FNV and left alone in FO3.


  3. PN uniques would be duplicated across wastelands, with the alternative unique being disabled when one is found.


  4. Cyberware would in some way be integrated into DC, though I have not decided how yet. The implants suggested here sound nice.


  5. All features would be added to all items that lack them, as makes sense.


A lot of ideas, and quite a bit of work, but once done PN+TTW would be pretty much the ultimate Fallout game everyone has always dreamed of. All that being said, this seems like a good place to ask for help.


As the TTW guys will tell you, large projects require a lot of work, and I've just about had it with PN EO work. It became too much for me to manage on my own, and so has sat because every time I think of it it fills me with a sense of dread. So I need help. I need testers, I need people who can make leveled lists, I need people who can do world edits, brainstorm, and help me with scripting.


I figure here's the best place to find people willing to help with what needs to be done to get PN EO back going again and finished. PM me if you're interested, either here or at the Nexus.

It sounds like a great turn-over! What I really lack is scripting thus my list was only limited to stat boosting. With Gribble's excellency, much unique implants would be possible. Though, I suggest to split the plugin at least to two parts. While Core and Cyberware are high modular and everybody's MUST, Equipment & Rebalance alter too many fundamental settings that so many parts stack and uncompatible to others. I can join field testing if those modules are not requirements.

When you make the TTW version of PN would you include some of the things FWE put in Fallout 3? Such as the reinforced chinese stealth suit or any other weapons or armor it adds? :)

Hi Fellows, second TTW play through! Many thanks to this community, it is terrific.

I Made the mistake of giving the Cybernetic Surgery Standard Ed'n found in Mechanist lair to the Dr in Megaton, and then played on for quite a bit before I realized he can't perform this surgery.

EDIT:
I console cmd: search "Cybernetic Surgery" and got baseID 23003ef7 and gave that book to Dr Preston Rivet City, but TTW hangs and Task Manager says TTW "is not responding"... Preston has installed modules in first play thru so I know he can do it. Any assistance appreciated.

EDIT 2:
Managed to stop the game from freezing by decreasing the surgery time to zero and lowered the cost to 950, but I still see no 'effects' of the Voice Modulator implant installed (L1 speech and barter should be +2). So still at a loss to resolve.
