Wrye Bash for TTW

Post by Mailamea » Fri Nov 09, 2012 8:05 am

Wrye Bash really needs to be converted for TTW. I mean mods from fallout 3 and NV would be easier with the bash tags feature + rebuilding patches.

Theres a Wrye Flash for NV and FO3 but both of them are incompatible with TTW, = results in errors when building patches.

We need Wrye Flash TTW lol

What all is different from other programs?

Fallout doesn't exactly need Bash patches like Oblivion did. Making a merge patch in FNVedit is pretty much all that's needed, but if this does it without taking 10 minutes to load, that would be better.

Very huge difference with Wrye Flash, FNVedit merged patch doesnt even work with TTW, because loading falloutNV.esm with Fallout3.esm doesnt work. Speaking of which we do need TTWedit

Wrye Flash bash tags is much better than merged patch search bash tags and u'll understand

I have no problem loading

Post by JaxFirehart » Fri Nov 09, 2012 5:07 pm

I have no problem loading FalloutNV.esm and Fallout3.esm in FNVEdit, I'm confused on what exactly is wrong with Wrye Flash and the like. I don't used automated mergers, prefer to do it myself, so I have little experence with these programs.

I am not entirely sure what

Post by poopoopapa » Fri Nov 09, 2012 11:16 pm

I am not entirely sure what is wrong with creating a bashed patch.  I would have to create the patch and check individual sections for errors.  I know that loading weather mods causes problems as there are numerous errors in the weather section of the bashed.esp.  Removing this still didn't fix errors.  I recommend removing all other options from the patch creation except for the leveled lists and formid lists merging(at the bottom of the options).  This will give you a based patch that merges the leveled lists and formid lists without anything else changed.  Manually setting the individual delevel and relevel tags per esp and esm are recommended for different mods.  For example, I assigned delevel and relevel tags to TTW.esm in order to make sure that any lists from FO3 were changed to suit TTW's changes.

I think a welcome change would be the merging of FO3 and FNV's BOSS masterlist.  This list contains all the bash tags, which wrye uses to assign auto tags.  More work is needed.

@JaxFirehart : How'd you do

Post by Mailamea » Sat Nov 10, 2012 4:54 am

@JaxFirehart : How'd you do it? When I load FO3 and FNV.esm together it takes forever but its loading, along the lines below the FNVedit saying duplicates and stuff GRUP etc etc.

Whats wrong with Wrye Flash for TTW as of now is first : BOSS masterlist isn't merged with FO3 and FNV thats why bash tags should be manually added to fo3 plugins like what poopoopapa said. I myself prefer to do it myself with FNVedit, but bash tags is way faster and accurate, for example you want a mods Destruction Data to be only transfered but not the stat changes, when you put a tag on the ESPlugin, it only merges its destruction data to the merge patch/bashed patch.

@Poopoopapa : As of now when creating a bashed patch with FO3.esm & FNV.esm results in error (Warning message on Wrye Flash saying errors about bash patch FO3.esm). Haven't used weather mods my self since FO3 and FNV share the same weather form. Level list is merged, yes.

You are absolutely right on this one. I have noticed this my self when i run boss for fnv all fo3 plugins + fo3 mods aren't detected.

The error with FO3.esm :

@Mailamea: Ya, FNVEdit takes

Post by poopoopapa » Sat Nov 10, 2012 7:14 am

@Mailamea: Ya, FNVEdit takes super long to load.  I usually do something else and just periodically check it.  One of the reasons why I didn't want to do the FWE conversion!

I get no errors for Wrye.  I think the errors are caused by the examination of fallout3.esm records that wrye isn't expecting.  This is what I get for wrye.  Keep in mind that I am only setting leveled lists and formids to merge.

I bet I could just bug the BOSS people into making a TTW list.  I bet that would work for simple tags.   Hmmm.

@Poopoopapa : Imagine loading all FWE plugins lol.

Which tags or settings should i check to only bash leveled lists and formids?.

That works too, A series of mods from the site i came from bugged boss people and now its included in Oblivion's masterlist.

using FNVEDIT (3.0.15~3.0.24) load FalloutNV.esm and Fallout3.esm without any issue, its need about 7+ mins at CPU 100% (mine is E8400 dual core).
