Aside from DT/DR,

How about raising item HP of Advanced PA MK1 and Gannon tesla? 400 is way too low.

And IMHO T45D is deserving at least 15 rad Res.

Besides, have you thought about how to buff Sierra PA? I think it deserves +1 AG due to different servo motor

Gannon family power armor is

Post by TrickyVein » Fri Mar 13, 2015 2:36 am

Gannon family power armor is medium armor, and with its DT makes it one of the best medium armors in the game. Its weight class alone makes it powerful enough, IMO. Other medium armors don't compare in terms of DT.

Definitely. I think the Tesla DT, Weight tradeoff should work very well.

What do you mean by "glass

Post by RoyBatty » Fri Mar 13, 2015 7:40 pm

What do you mean by "glass cannon"?

Also the Tesla armor's should have increased EMP resistance I think and the rest should have an effect that lowers the DT/DR if you are attacked with an EMP weapon. That's something that annoys me about vanilla anchorage and has been addressed in the DLC with the optional.

I thought the Hellfire Armor is supposed to be the most advanced armor created? The lore is quite confusing with this stuff.

As for T-57C wasn't it the airforce variant? Shouldn't it have some unique effect against explosives or something.

All that seems missing now is a "Marines" armor.

The lore is confusing since Fallout New Vegas made the T51b much weaker than the Enclave power armors despite being equal to the best the East Coast Enclave could field.

Per Fallout 3 Wikia

"The T-51b armor in other Fallout games is inferior to Enclave power armor series since the Enclave researched more advanced power armor on top of the T-51b. In Fallout 3 however, since the Enclave bases in the west have been virtually wiped out, the more advanced models have been lost, forcing the Enclave to research advanced armor again. This makes the T-51b model superior over most of the East Coast Enclave soldiers' power armors. However, the addition of the Enclave Hellfire armor levels the playing field and bears the same damage resistance as the rusted T-51b, coupled with its set of effects and better availability."

I think a TTW version should use the East Coast T51b. The West Coast Brotherhood T51bs are 200 years old so likely not as good as the rare pristine T51b on the East Coast, but I think they should be close to the DT of the MrkI Enclave armors.

Always bring a companion or two that is slower than you.
Because you don't need to out run a Deathclaw.
You just need to out run your companions (Just bring a lot of companions in case the Deathclaw is really hungry!).

K. I'm going to make the suit

Post by darthbdaman » Fri Mar 13, 2015 10:55 pm

K. I'm going to make the suit in Fort Constantine the unique hardened variant from Fallout 2. This lets it be a bit stronger.

By glass cannon I was just using MMO terminology to describe something with lower defense and higher attack (or bonuses).

Again, I can't buy that stuff on fallout wiki. If the Enclave has access to Advanced Power Armor MKI that is clearly the same as the Fallout 2 advanced power armor, which is better than t-51b. I've posted my solution in the OP, which still makes the enclave the most advanced faction in the wastes.

What I need now are T-51b textures for the enclave, outcasts, and lyon's pride

Remember Fallout 3 happened

Post by Runnerblank » Sat Mar 14, 2015 12:39 am

Remember Fallout 3 happened well after most of the West Coast Enclave's main bases were destroyed. The T51b was the height of Per War technology. The East Coast Enclave would have to spend major resources just to rebuild what they had lost on the West Coast.

I think that for the most

Post by ChilledHobo » Sat Mar 14, 2015 1:50 am

I think that for the most part you have the DT/DR values in a good spot and that they all seem to be in the proper tiers to me.

I do have one suggestion though and it doesn't retain to the Power Armour's DT/DR, but instead its for their bottle cap value. I would suggest that you make their price in game much higher and make it cost a lot more to get them repaired. Their are many ways you can go on about doing this from just raising all their values all together, to pricing the different variants of the Power Armour.

If I was going to go about this I would first come up with a base value for the items in question, this time being Power Armour, and work off of that base with the rest of the items. So for my base in this I would use the T-45d Power Armour as my base, being because it is the most common of the power amours, there for will have a less over all value, and setting its rice to around 800 Caps. Sense the T-45d Power Armour is in tier one, I would make its variants around the same price. There are a couple of "Special" Power amours in the tier one and I would maybe raise their price a 100 Caps more, on top of the base value, just because their Special. As for the other tiers I would raise their prices any were from 100-700 Caps, for the base price of the T-45s Power Armour. So maybe a Hellfire Armour would go for around 2,300 caps (Fully Repaired). The reason behind this is because the higher in tier you go the more rare the Amour gets.

Thats just how/why I would raise the prices of the Power Armour and sorry for the long reasoning behind it all, I found this topic to be rather interesting. Either way Power Armour is Power Amour and I know for a fact, It will always look cool, and it will always protect you.
