If i remember correctly, those mods were never properly finished. I think at least the FO3 mod was still in Beta version and never moved on before the author stopped making mods.


I also think that those mods are really complicated and complex.


So if someone merge both mods they would also have to fix a lot of stuff and probably redo some of it too. I have the feeling that is too much work for most people to even consider doing it.

And the last thing that I know of that Arcoola was working on was Fallout the Story (Fallout 1 in New Vegas engine) and Fallout Zero.  Sesom may know more since he's also part of those mods. 


So I doubt they would be redoing RTS in the near future.

Last year I converted the F3 "New Wave" version. xEdit is showing errors on the planted trees but I'm pretty sure it all works (it shows similar issues with Farming Bob which works fine).  I don't remember any terrible issues except for some lagg.


They do pretty much the same thing, so why merge them?
